Who is GFOA?
GFOA is a professional association of local government finance officers and professionals joined together to support the professional management of governments for the benefit of the public.
What does GFOA do?
GFOA promotes the training and education of finance officials and support staff by providing training and educational opportunities, recommended practices, and GASB interpretation.
Why should I join GFOA?
Besides the education and training opportunities, local and regional networking, Membership in GFOA also demonstrates the commitment of the government finance professional to the Code of Ethics.
