3:15 pm to 4:00 pm                   Paperless Government

Steve Rennell, Account Executive-BS&A

Local governments are constantly being asked to do more work with fewer people. One of the ways to accomplish this is to replace paper-based, labor intensive processes with more efficient, electronic processes. If most of us were to give it a few moments of thought, it would not be too difficult to come up with a process or two that could be improved by eliminating paper. The topic of this presentation will be to push the envelope and review a wide spectrum opportunities to streamline processes and leverage electronic information. The presenter will illustrate this using real examples from municipal governments. These solutions will be general in nature and not tied to a specific software program or technology.
